• Daily Check: For defibrillators in standby mode, check the battery level daily using the battery indicator on the device or the on-screen display to ensure it is fully charged.
• At least once a month, unplug the defibrillator from AC power and operate it on battery power until the low-battery alarm sounds (or the battery indicator enters the yellow zone). Then, immediately connect the defibrillator to AC power for an uninterrupted, complete charge.
• Regularly wipe the metal contacts of the battery and the battery compartment with a soft cloth to ensure good contact and prevent dust or oxides from causing charging problems.

• Charge the battery at room temperature in a dry, well-ventilated environment. Avoid charging in extremely high or low temperatures.
• A fully depleted battery typically takes 4-6 hours to fully charge. Always use the original power cord.
• After any use (whether in an actual rescue, drill, or self-test), immediately connect the defibrillator to AC power for charging to restore it to 100% readiness.
• Do not plug the defibrillator in for just a few minutes of charging and then unplug it for emergency use, as this will severely damage the battery life.
